Holiday Lodge

I stayed here for two nights on June 24-25, 2022 and brought my big Golden Retriever along for the trip. Glad that they allowed him . I think the extra charge was something like 10-20 bucks. Having made reservations from a travel site, I did not know what to expect. I arrived at 10:00 p.m. and was grateful that the owner stayed up to let me check in. This motel was purchased by a Sihk Indian family and they have done a really nice job of refurbishing the place. There were nice wood lattice screens around the perimeter of the motel rooms and those gave it a nice feel. The swimming pool, while I did not partake, was in excellent shape and the water was sparkling and clean. There were a gaggle of kids enjoying it during the days. Most of the rooms were taken by either families with kids or work truck guys. The grounds were clean, for the most part. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. The only real noises were from a couple of drag racing cars on Saturday night. No noises from the hotel or it's guests. My room was upstairs, on the end. #58. The stairs were a tiny bit creaky but I am a large gal, so maybe it was from that, LOL. The room, while not glamorous, was clean, in good condition and had a mini fridge, microwave and a coffee maker. The bed spread was kind of unattractive. The towels were small but very clean and soft. My coffee maker did not work. The only criticism I have for this place was that the shower curtain was entirely too small and short and the shower pressure was so strong that it blew the curtain around and let a LOT of water out on the floor. Could turn into a dangerous situation and I would recommend that they put in better , longer curtains to keep the water inside the shower. One other comment as to safety... when going down a small flight of stairs on the inner right hand corner of the downstairs part of the motel, is that someone had left a big bundle of garden hose laying right at the bottom of the stairs.

Staff was very nice, room clean and the bed was comfortable. Close to stores and places to eat. After 8 pm the motel was quiet so no problem sleeping.

This hotel is run by very nice people and I've stayed several times. Well-priced, not inexpensive but ok.

Comfortable, there’s a pool, the rooms have a fridge, microwave, a coffee maker. The front desk man (his name is Sam) is great!

Great location, close to main streets, freeway and food. They have a cute room themes. Easy check-in and check-out process.
